Before Her Fame:
Melanie Adele Martinez was born on April 28, 1995 to two lovely parents each from different cultures Dominican and Puerto Rican descent in Astoria, Queens in New York. When she turned just four years old, her family moved to Baldwin, New York in Long Island, where she was later raised, and would be attending  Plaza Elementary School. During her elementary school years she began writing poetry, but she claimed that she didn't have many friends growing up, and due to the result Melanie became a homebody, but found it difficult and emotional, to where she couldn't explain her feelings, and cry when she was overwhelmed. Due to her emotional state being, she claims to have been referred to as "cry baby" by others. At the age of fourteen, she attended Baldwin High School, and began teaching herself how to play guitar by studying chord diagrams of songs she enjoyed. But found it "stale" afterwards. Eventually during her sophomore year, she won the talent show in BHS, and by the age of sixteen she dyed half of her hair blonde. In 2012, during her junior year of high school, she participated at a MSG Varcity talent show. A televised talent competition, but sadly was eliminated during the second round. Later on, she auditioned in the third season of The Voice, since it was an opencall held at Javits Theatre. Giving her a chance towards fame. 

 After:
Although Melanie did not make it towards the finals of The Voice, she began working independently on original music, spending almost a year drafting. On February 9, 2014, she released an EP called "Dollhouse" which later would hit millions of fans during the coming up months of May of 2014. Which tells a story similar to the movie Edward Scissorhands. Which describes a perfect home, perfect lawn, but behind each house there's a group of screwed up people. On April 7, 2017, she was signed to Atlantic Records and would be going on tour. 

 2015-Present:
Her album "Cry Baby" was officially certified Platinum. She later collaborated with Lime-Crime cosmetics, releasing two exclusive lipsticks. a blue lipstick called "Crybaby" on August 17, 2015 and a brown lipstick called "Teddy Bear" on March 9, 2016. On October 25, 2016 she released a commercial for her new fragrance relating to her "Cry Baby" album, which she called Crybaby Perfume Milk. She is now releasing her second album as of 2017. Melanie Martinez sure has luck on her side.

MIRAMAR TUNNEL : FUN FACT EDITION

The Miramar tunnel is also known as the "FaZe Rug Tunnel": It is no surprise that this haunted tunnel has the name from a famous youtuber FaZe Rug. During one of his vlogs, he mentions a well known haunted tunnel near his home, where later, uploaded the video and later got a million views. This tunnel would later become one of his series called Exploring the Haunted Tunnel.  The Miramar Tunnel is located in the San Diego area. The miramar tunnel is the most haunted tunnel: Many have explored this estranged tunnel, but also have been frightened while exploring. They say while entering the tunnel, you feel uneasy, nervous, and feel like something or someone is watching your every move.
